Watoga State Park is the largest state park in West Virginia with 10,100 acres of beautiful forest full of recreational opportunities.
The park includes an 11-acre lake, hiking and equestrian trails and three campgrounds. Fishing is excellent in the lake.
The park contains an arboretum, the Civilian Conservation Corps Memorial Museum, a variety of cabins and campgrounds and extensive summer events.
In winter, the trails are popular with cross-country skiers, though none are groomed.
