Lincoln Woods, created in 1909, was so named to commemorate the 100th birthday of Abraham Lincoln.
Its 627 acres cover a wooded, rocky area. It is home to a popular sandy beach on Olney Pond. Swimming, fishing and boating are permitted on the pond.
The park has 101 picnic areas. It is also a popular place for biking or walking along a 2.5-mile loop.
