Located 11 miles south of Riverside, Lake Perris is known for water recreation. Visitors can swim, scuba dive, sail, waterski and even paddle to an island for a picnic.
Rainbow trout, catfish and Alabama spotted bass thrive in the lake. Anglers fish from the shore, a fishing pier and boats.
On land, visitors hike and ride bikes or horses on the park’s trails. South of the dam is an area for rock climbing.
Resident and migratory wildlife includes ducks and Canada geese.
The Ya’ Heki’ Regional Indian Museum is nearby and features displays detailing the lives of the region’s early inhabitants. The museum is open by appointment only by contacting the park office.
Campsites are available for either tents or RVs.
