Mammoth Spring, Arkansas' largest spring, flows at a rate of 9.78 million gallons of water hourly. It forms a 10-acre lake and then flows south as the Spring River, a popular trout and float stream.
Near the spring, the state park system restored a historic 1886 Frisco Depot. The Depot houses train memorabilia of the period, including several audio and video displays which give the visitor a realistic perspective of that time period.
