Located seven miles north of Eufaula, Ala., off Hwy. 431, Lakepoint park offers many recreational activities, including hiking, boating, camping and canoeing. It is adjacent to Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge.
The park is best-known for Lake Eufaula, Alabama's most celebrated lake. It offers trophy fishing and is known as the "Bass Capital of the World."
